GPT Sites Primer

This has become probably my second favorite GPT site lately, after Cashcrate. My reasons for saying this are because they’ve majorly upgraded the site recently, and added a lot of good promotions and different ways to make money.

After signing up with CASHCRATE, I found that this website is legit and does what it says. You get a check from them every month around the 20th sometimes earlier, sometimes later. They have contests that gives extra cash to put with your earnings. They also have the highest referral bonus I have seen. This is a great site I have joined and Iplan on making the best of it by sharing it with others like you. If you like what you have heard so far, then why not give it a try for yourself. First lets look at some of the offers the Get paid to sites have, what they pay and what they actually get paid. This is very interesting

Now you can see who is really making the money with get paid to sites. It is the Get Paid to sites themselves. Every time you do an offer they make triple what the pay you. So what is the secret to get paid to. Well it is start a get paid to site yourself. Its really not that hard. Actually you don’t even have to go as in depth as most the get paid to sites out there. Check out this get paid to site. This is a great site to copy or do the offer on. A site like this you dont have to sign up, send in your id, etc. Just simply do the offers ( they also have the highest payouts) and get paid like the next day. Or copy a site like this, don’t give these get paid to sites take your money, start one yourself

A very fun site that allows you to earn money online for free in a variety of different ways. I have been a member of this site for a while now and have recieved about 10 payouts through paypal. I’ve made about $500 dollars as of right now with out even putting much effort into it.

3) Cash Crate
This is a great GPT site. Cash crate reviews are very positive. It is one of the best sites. CashCrate has the highest referral payout percentage. Cash Crate starts at 20%/10% for first and second level, but you can raise it to 30%/20% payout level. No other program matches this one. You also receive a $3.00 bonus for EVERY member you refer who reaches the $10 minimum payout.

4) SquishyCash
squishycash.com is one of my favorite offer sites. I joined them about a year or two ago and I have no complaints. I like them for a couple reasons: they have a lot of promotions and contests, one almost everyday. They also have an option to cashout and get your money the next day instead of waiting a whole month, the only catch is that they have a 33% fee. It’s still useful for people like me who need the money right away. They have a lot of freebies and they also credit fast. It didn’t take me long at all to get to my first payout  They also have chips that you can cash in for different things like money, gift cards, account upgrade, and a few electronics. This is by far one of my favorite offer sites.

Confirmations only happen when you’ve completed all requirements (which vary) and the site you are using is alerted. They can’t pay you until they get paid. When you click a link to do a offer you’re taken to another site. It is that site that decides if you’ve done everything required and if you should get credit.

One of the most common reasons this does not  work out is because you didn’t clear your cookies before doing that offer. You must do this or else the site thinks you are a repeat visitor and therefore won’t pay you. After every gpt offer you do always remember to clear your cookies in your browser. You must accept cookies in order to get credit but once you’ve submitted it for payment delete them before moving to the next offer. Make this a habit. To delete cookies using Firefox go to Tools, Options, Privacy and then View Cookies. Delete all cookies except the one for the site you are on (or else you will have to log back in again).

The second most popular reason why people don’t get paid is because they use the same email address. The advertisers that are paying for you to do the gpt offers normally have more than one survey or offer on each GPT site. They are considered to be in the same “campaign family”. If you use the same email address for all of those offers you will only get credit for one of them. You need to go to Google and sign up for a Gmail account. Gmail allows you to take one email address and use it in different variations with a period. For example the email address johndoe@gmail.com could be used as

john.doe@gmail.com
jo.hndoe@gmail.com
johnd.oe@gmail.com
johndo.e@gmail.com

This will prevent you from having tons of email accounts and also the offer sites always see these different email addresses. It works and you should do this. I have several gmail accounts and about 10 different variations of each email address. Gmail is free.

The third reason you might not be paid is because you didn’t do the gpt offer correctly. Some offers ask you to just enter a zip code while others make you do an entire 5 minute long “survey”. (I find it odd that they call them surveys even though all you do is say No to other GPT sites or sites that want your money.) Always do the offer until you see the page that says Congratulations. Once you see this you’ve probably either finished the survey or done enough to get credit. If for any reason you are not sure then continue on a little further.

If you do an offer that ask for a zip code or email address then when you click on submit another page pops up that says congratulations, you can stop right there. I recently discovered that some offers really do only want your email address or zip code. The congratulations page is a marker in the offer that they don’t want you to know about. I have tested this and it does work. On one offer I spent almost 7 minutes completing it. The next week I did another offer that was almost the exact same thing. It was on the same site as well. I only entered my zip and that was it. I submitted it to be confirmed and it was only a few hours later. Pay attention to this and it will save you some time.

Even though there are many legit GPT sites out there you will also find some bad ones. Some sites are poorly managed and others are just scams. The good ones will have a forum or at least a fast customer service response time. Before you go all out and start doing a bunch of offers for an unknown GPT site make sure you do some research first. Check GPT scam sites to make sure this isn’t one of them. Even if its not listed always be cautious. If you continuously don’t get paid for offers then stop using that site. Some sites really do take your money and there is nothing you can do about it. There is nothing worse than spending your time on these boring offers and then being ripped off.

GPT stands for “Get Paid To.” This can be Get Paid to Click, Get Paid to Read E-mail, Get Paid to Complete Offers, Get Paid to Shop, or even Get Paid to Surf. Some GPT’s are programs that encompass only one of these options. Others include 2, 3, or sometimes all 4 of them.

I’ll start with “get paid to read e-mail.” These are programs you join with the understanding that you will be sent regular e-mails from the program containing messages from advertisers. My first suggestion here is to create a new e-mail address for use only for GPT’s. These programs can result in a lot of spam, or bulk, e-mails. Most programs pay you a few cents per e-mail read. You simply open the e-mail and click to confirm that you read it. The process takes only a few seconds. You will often be offered more money to take the advertiser up on whatever offer you are reading about. You may be offered $5.00 to sign up for a free trial, or $10.00 to order a $6.00 product. Often, these are offers that must be canceled in the future to avoid further charges. There are some get paid to read e-mail programs that pay you in points rather than cash. The points can later be traded in for gift certificates to just about any major retailer or restaurant. My Points is one such program. It also has a very good reputation and has been operating for a long time. With My Points, you can trade in your points for gift certificates as soon as you have enough points to claim one. With programs that pay you in cash, you must read the terms and conditions on the program carefully. Some require a $10 minimum to cash out and be paid while others require as much as $40 or $50 to be paid.

“Get paid to complete offers” programs are similar to get paid to read programs. However, you visit the program’s website in order to complete the offers. They will usually list the offers, what you must do to complete them, and how much you will be paid. They range from completely free “surveys” to ordering free trials and products. Sometimes you will have to pay the shipping for free trial offers or you may be required to cancel within the allotted time if you do not wish to pay anything further. Most GPT programs ask that participants only sign up for offers they are actually interested in rather than simply signing up and canceling every offer. My suggestions here are to always read the terms and conditions no matter how tedious it is to do so or how fine the print is. The terms and conditions will tell you how you must cancel and when you must do so. Sometimes these can be tricky. For instance, some companies will only allow you to cancel by phone. So if you do not read the terms and conditions, you may attempt to cancel online and then end up being charged for the item. I also suggest keeping a notebook of each offer completed, the date completed, and the date you need to cancel by if applicable. You’ll also want to clear cookies between each offer done to ensure the offer goes through properly. You can make some very decent money from the get paid to complete offer programs as long as you take the time to read the terms and conditions on both the paid to complete offer site and the advertisers’ sites. Offers typically take a few days to be put through because the program only pays out to the participant once they have been paid by the advertiser, so it will take some time for you to see the money added to your account. Most programs pay you monthly via check or Paypal.

Many get paid to complete offer and get paid to read e-mail sites also offer a “get paid to shop” option. If you shop through their site, meaning you click the link to your favorite store on their site, you will receive either a flat fee or a percentage of what you spend back. If you were planning to buy something anyway, this is a great way to get a discount! Just make sure what you are receiving back covers more than just shipping. If all it covers are your shipping costs you may be better off just buying the item at a store. So, shop around. Each site usually has many stores to shop with. See which is offering the most money!

Some people consider “get paid to surf” sites GPT’s, so I’ll include them here. Some also consider them more closely related to the HYIP, but that’s a whole other set of initials and I’ll save those for another article. Anyway, get paid to surf sites are sites you sign on with to surf advertisers’ sites for credits. In most cases, these credits can be turned in for cash or they can be spent to put your own website in the surf rotation. You gain credits for every site you surf. This usually consist of logging on to the website and clicking a “surf now” link. That will begin the surf rotation. If it is an auto surf, you’ll simply see the sites popping up on your monitor with a counter, usually staying on each site for about 20 seconds or so, and then moving onto the next one. If it is a manual surf, you’ll have to click on it yourself after the allotted time is up to move on to view the next site.

With all of these programs, you’ll usually be offered money, points, or credits to refer others to use the programs as well. Customarily, you will make a commission, a percentage of what your referrals earn. Many of the sites will show you who your referrals are and reveal to you their e-mail addresses. You can e-mail your down line with helpful tips and tricks to make more money with the program and also let them know about other programs they can join under you. You can also utilize surf sites to promote other GPT’s by placing your referral link in the site rotation. Other popular ways to build a down line are to place your referral links on your personal web pages, in your e-mail signature, and post about them on work at home message boards.

GPT’s won’t make you rich, but if utilized efficiently, as outlined here, they can definitely bring in some good extra spending money. They require minimal time and effort for the payoff they provide. Certainly there may be a slight risk in that these programs could potentially disappear without a trace and your earnings for the month with them. However, since you are not required to deposit any money into these sites, the risk, in my eyes, is minimal. With get paid to read and get paid to complete offer programs, their money is made by the advertisers each time an offer is completed so they shouldn’t run out of money. Surf sites are a bit more risky and have been known to disappear from time to time. I do not recommend spending money to upgrade surf accounts unless you are using them strictly to advertise or promote your website. I would not consider investing money into them in order to make a large sum back. In my opinion, a free account works just fine.
